This is the final weekend for the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater 2013 production of "Oliver!"
Based the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist and with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, this story of a lonely orphan boy is a delight for all ages. Oliver’s misadventures begin with leaving the workhouse, working for an undertaker, falling in with pick-pockets and thieves, and finally finding a good home.
Musical numbers include such classics as “Food, Glorious Food”, “I’d Do Anything”, “Where is Love?”, “Consider Yourself”, “As Long As He Needs Me”, “Who Will Buy”, and “Reviewing the Situation”. Dickens’ memorable characters are brought to life: Oliver, the innocent and lonely orphan boy; Fagin, the kindly and slightly sinister con man; the Artful Dodger, the clever and witty pick-pocket; Mr. Bumble, the comedic pompous beadle of the workhouse; and many more.
Shows are at 2 pm and 7pm on Saturdays, and 2pm on Sundays. A barbecue dinner option is also available for purchase, with a choice of steak, chicken, or salmon, as well as other meal options.
