Remlinger Farms plans harvest festival

“Children and their Imagination” is the theme for this year’s Remlinger Farms Strawberry Harvest Festival.

The festival is slated to be bigger than ever for 2008, with events on the last three weekends in June.

The farm is located at 32610 N.E. 32nd St., Carnation.

Children twelve and under are invited to draw their own mystical imaginary farm animal on an eight-by-ten inch piece of art paper, name it and bring it to the farm for a $2-off admission coupon.

The festival will be a full-blown clown experience. Leo the Clown, from Clowns Unlimited, will be at the farm on Father’s Day, June 15 to perform his antics. On June 22 and 29, The Northwest’s own clown celebrity, JP Patches, will be at Remlinger Farms Park to entertain and welcome all his fans, their children and grandchildren. Lolly the Clown will be at the farm every Saturday with balloons and magic tricks

The park will be open 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, June 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29. For more information, call (425) 333-4135.
