Relay for Life kickoff coming Thursday to North Bend Theatre

The Yoshitomi family, from left, Corey, Carmen, mom Sabrina, Hailey and dad Brad, light candles last July, at Snoqualmie's Centennial Fields. Honoring their aunt Joyce, who is fighting bone cancer, the five took part in the 2012 Valley Relay for Life, a two-day celebration and remembrance that raised more than $70,000 for the American Cancer Society.

The Snoqualmie Valley Relay for Life Kick-Off for 2013 is 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the North Bend Theatre.

Enjoy pizza, sign up your team and stay for the movie E.T.

Pre-sale tickets are $8 available at Another Hair Place or Pioneer Coffee House in downtown North Bend, $10 at the door. Includes soda and popcorn.
