Carnation celebrates the holidays Saturday with choirs, eats and a pancake breakfast

Christmas in Carnation is 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, downtown on Bird Street. Entertainment is planned by the Tolt Middle School choir, Cedarcrest High School band and choir and Jack Ballard. Pete’s Club Grill will serve chili, Camp Korey offers s’mores, Sandy’s Espresso brings hot apple cider, Starbucks brings coffee, Carnation Co-op serves hot chocolate.

Kiss Consignment, Valley Homes and Land, Carnation Corners and Miller’s store host an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Appetizers will be served at Kiss, dinner at Carnation Corners and dessert at Miller’s. All are welcome.

A Breakfast with Santa is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the American Legion Hall on Bird Street. On the menu: Pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice, milk and coffee. Cost is $7 for adults $5 for children 10 and younger.
