October 25, 2012 · 1:48 PM
Celebrate autumn with a scenic walk in the country, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Remlinger Farms in Carnation.
The Halloween Farm and Country Walk includes five, 10 or 13 kilometer routes. The routes traverse farmland and country trails, and the Carnation community. Wear a costume and win a prize! There is no fee for this walk.
Remlinger Farms will also be hosting the annual Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival, with children’s rides, entertainment, food and the farm market.
From I-90 take Exit 22 (Preston/Fall City exit) and follow signs through Preston to Fall City. At the stop sign in Fall City, go right over the Snoqualmie River Bridge. Take the second exit to the right, from the round-about, traveling north on Hwy 203 to NE 32nd, at the Remlinger Farms’ sign.
This event is sponsored by the Emerald City Wanderers and is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association. Information about volkswalking will be available at the event.
