Cooks sought for Valley Animal Partners Chili Showdown, Oct. 20

Valley Animal Partners' third annual Chili Showdown is 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Snoqualmie Eagle's lodge.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. VAP is a non-profit organization and all proceeds benefit families in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Businesses and organizations including the North Bend Bar and Grill, the Snoqualmie Brewery, the Mt. Si Culinary Class and Love A Mutt Rescue will be competing with their chili recipes.Individuals are still welcome to compete as well. Come and vote for your favorite chili.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children.
