Got champion cows? Enter them in the Puyallup Fair

It is time to round up your premiere beef cattle and see if they have what it takes to be crowned the 2012 Grand Champion in the state's biggest fair.
The Puyallup Fair’s beef cattle competition deadline is approaching quickly. All entries must be submitted online by Friday, August 10 at 10 p.m.
To obtain the list of conditions for entry and requirements or to register online, visit www.thefair.com, and select Exhibit entries.
The angus and shorthorn cattle entry fee is $16.50, and all other breeds fees are $14.50. There is no entry fee for group classes.
The Puyallup Fair runs Sept. 7 to 23. It started in 1900, is one of the biggest fairs in the world, and is considered to be the state fair in Washington. Star-studded entertainment, the PRCA Rodeo, rides, exhibits, food, flowers and animals are mainstays of the event.
