Summer reading deals: Friends' Used Book Sale starts this weekend at North Bend Library

The annual Friends of the North Bend Library Used Book Sale begins Saturday, Aug. 11, and runs through Saturday, Aug. 25. The library boosters sell gently used hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, DVDs and CDs, videos and audio books, starting at 25 cents.

The sale is open during regular library hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The library is located 115 East Fourth Street, North Bend.

The Friends use proceeds from the sale to fund improvements, enhancements and support programs for children, teens and adults.
