Night on a Dark Trail, a volunteer-run haunted trail opening Oct. 27 on Snoqualmie Ridge, needs performers and volunteers.

Auditions for people to take roles on the haunted trail are 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Mount Si Senior Center in North Bend.

Volunteers are also needed.

Night on a Dark Trail is 7 to 9 p.m. October 27 to 29, and starts at the east parking lot of the Trailside building, 35131 S.E. Douglas St., three buildings down from the Snoqualmie Police Station.

The event includes a haunted trail for children 10 and younger; a hay maze, jack-o-lantern festival, pumpkin carving and dance performances. Proceeds to benefit the Mount Si Helping Hand Food Bank.
