Musical performances heat up the North Bend street in the return of the downtown Block Party, July 23.

The North Bend Downtown Block Party returns Saturday afternoon, July 23, with dual stages, dozens of street events and vendors, and plenty to see, do and taste.

North Bend Way closes at 8 a.m. Saturday, vendors will set up in the morning, and the festival begins at 1 p.m.

The Block Party includes live music and local dance performances on the Main Stage, and contests and special events on the Community Stage.

Main Stage Schedule

• 1 p.m., Jessica Oliver

• 1:45 p.m., Cascade Dance Academy

• 2:30 p.m., Down the Road, bluegrass and country

• 3:30 Kelly Eisenhour and the Danny Kolke Trio, jazz

• 4:05 p.m., Ignite Dance

• 4:15 p.m., Paul Green, blues

• 5 p.m., BC Blues Band, rhythm and blues

• 5:45 p.m., Ricky Venture Revue, rock and roll

• 8 to 10 p.m., Shelly and the Waves

Community Stage

• 1:30 p.m., Valentine Performing Pigs

• 2:30 p.m., Pet Place Market Doggie Fashion Show

• 3:15 p.m., George's Bakery Donut Eating Contest

• 4 p.m., Sno Valley Idol Junior performance

• 5 p.m., U Dirty Dog Creative Costumes contest

• 6 p.m., Twede's Cafe Hamburger Eating Contest

• 6:45 p.m., Evin Bask

• Artist Alley with live music, artists in action, works for sale, wine garden

• Alpine Fitness Strongman Contest on Main Avenue
