Block Party bake sale helps Snoqualmie Valley veteran's memorial

In the last century, more than 50 Valley men and women sacrificed their lives in service to the United States. Valley veterans are building a memorial to these patriots at the Renton Pickering American Legion building in Snoqualmie.

A bake sale benefiting the memorial is 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in downtown North Bend, during the Block Party. For information, call (425) 888-9152.
