Safe food classes planned at senior center

Just in time for your summer job, the Sno-Valley Senior Center is offering a Safe Food Handlers Class on the second Monday of every month.

Anyone who is employed or volunteers in the food service industry, including schools, grocers and restaurants, should take the class. The class costs $10, takes about 90 minutes and is in English. Class starts at 7 p.m. Participants are advised to come about ten minutes early to register, bring a picture ID and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

The Sno-Valley Senior Center is located at 4610 Stephens Ave., Carnation. To learn more, call www.snovalleysenior.org or call (425) 333-4152.
