Toxins workshop offers simple steps for family safety

Parents of young children can join Encompass for a free workshop, “Protecting Kids from Toxins,” 6 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Encompass Main Campus, 1407 Boalch Ave. N.W., North Bend.

Not all parents know that dangerous toxins that can be found in fruits and vegetables, cleaning products – even sippy cups and the good, old rubber ducky?

This session is taught by Alison Henderson of Green Choices of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and includes simple, quick steps to better protect the family.
