Seven new members took their seats at the annual board meeting of the Mount Si Senior Center.

Sharon Posey, Diane Bradberry, Caren Meeks, Pat Palmer, Will Chromey, Paula Edwards, and Karen Snyder will serve as representatives of Valley seniors and the center. They will stress community awareness and growth at the Upper Valley center.

The center offers many activities and services for seniors and the community at large. There is a senior advocate on staff. Hot lunches are served at noon on weekdays. Snoqualmie Valley Transportation operates out of the center, offering bus rides for anyone from North Bend to Monroe for 50 cents per trip, or 25 cents for seniors.

The center also offers exercise classes, yoga instruction, bingo, and special senior trips on Fridays. Shop at the thrift store Monday through Saturday until 4 p.m. There are facilities for parties and after hour meetings.

The newly remodeled center is located at 410 Main St., North Bend. For questions, call (425) 888-3434.
