Drive a horse at Fall City carriage clinic

Washington Draft Horse and Mule Association's Annual Horse Driving Clinic and Parade of Carriages is Saturday, May 1, at the Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center, 31022 S.E. Redmond Fall City Rd., Fall City.

The clinic is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Parade of Carriages is 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The annual clinic will shares the ancient art of driving horses for work and transportation. Participants learn about the different types of harnesses and horse-drawn implements and how to properly harness a team of horses. Horses and vehicles of all sizes and types will be featured. In the afternoon, students will get a chance to try their hand at driving carriages, wagons and carts along the country lanes.
