Meadowbrook Farm’s winter class schedule is full of classes and events for those who love the outdoors and want to learn more about the farm. The schedule, at www.meadowbrookfarmpreserve.org, includes:

• Backyard Beekeeping 101 – A family-oriented study of beekeeping. Open to all age levels. Intended to provide new beekeepers everything necessary to plan for and maintain an apiary in the spring. Class series offered evenings in February or day sessions in April.

• Walk to the Big Cedar – Take a short hike to see a living, 500-year-old, old growth forest giant of the valley floor! Interpretive guide included! Free event for all ages.
