The city of North Bend’s first annual Centennial Celebration awards, handed out last month, honored three important people behind the 2009 event.

Jolene Kelly was named to the list for her work as coordinator of the downtown centennial block party. North Bend residents Richard and Sallie Burhans were honored for their efforts in creating the Centennial Mural, travelling Centennial Birthday Card, and The Arts at Festival Hall.
