Valley hosts are needed for a group of high school students hailing from Hiroshima, Japan, who will visit the region in March.

The students, girls ages 15 to 17, will arrive March 12 and leave March 29.

While here, they will attend special English classes, participate in group activities, and spend time with their host families. Their ambitions are to get better at English, form friendships with their host families, and enjoy American culture.

Host families are expected to provide meals and a place to sleep. The students bring their own money for eating out, sightseeing and activities. Hosts are also welcome to come to any sightseeing activities. Any potential host families will need to fill out a short application and meet with the program coordinator.

People interested in applying should contact Leela Bilow at elmellyn@gmail.com or (425) 221-1961.
