Church to hold family history expo

The Church of Latter-day Saints is offering a wealth of genealogical information at its nine annual Family History Expo.

The free event is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Redmond Stake Center, 10115 172nd Ave. N.E., Redmond. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

The expo includes dozens of classes taught by researchers and teachers skilled in helping others search for their roots.

Keynote speaker Mary Slawson will address new trends in family history. Lunch is available for a $5 donation.
