Raging River Community Church in Preston hosts a book launch ceremony, 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, for "Trinidad: My Home — My People," a book by Max Inglis.

The book is about the life and service of Edith Johnson of Preston, a missionary for nearly 55 years in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago.

During the brief ceremony, there will be readings from her book, song and prayer. After the ceremony, a reception is planned. Johnson will sign copies of her book for purchasers.
