North Bend student earns Western Washington University scholarship

Western Washington University student Sarah Moran, daughter of Scott and Ruth Moran of North Bend, received a $1,000 President’s Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year.

President’s Scholarships are awarded to approximately the top 8 to 10 percent of incoming freshmen and transfer students, and are based on superior academic achievement.

Moran, an incoming freshman, earned a 3.66 GPA at Mount Si High School. Moran received highest honors for the 2008-2009 school year.
