Support Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle this autumn with your heart and soles.

The Dreams of Hope Guild, a support group for the hospital, is holding a shoe-themed ladies luncheon and auction, 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC.

The auction features a wide variety of items for enterprising bidders, including wine, sports tickets and memorabilia, entertainment, vacation packages and more than 25 pairs of shoes, ranging from heels and sandals to children’s shoes.

The Dreams of Hope Guild was established by a small group of friends striving to help patient families in need of additional support. Initially, the guild organized toy drives and garages sales. Dreams of Hope Guild now coordinates the Children’s Hospital calendar project as well an annual auction. The fundraising efforts of the Guild benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital uncompensated care program.

Tickets for the event are $50 per person and can be purchased by contacting Diana Reul-Shapiro at dianareul@hotmail.com or (425) 443-6714.
