Lacefield, Shovan to marry

The engagement of Clarissa Louise Shovan, daughter of the late Mrs. Janice Shovan, to Phil Lacefield Jr., son of Jennifer and Phil Lacefield Sr., of Middletown, Ohio, was announced by the bride's aunt, Ms. Galye Crawford, of Detroit, Mi.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Hillman High School, Hillman, Mi., and is currently pursuing a degree in Geology at Green River Community College.

She is currently employed at the Emerald City Smoothie store in North Bend.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Middletown High School, Middletown, Ohio, and a 1992 graduate of Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater design and technology, and is currently employed as the manager of the North Bend Theatre, at Frankie's Pizza, and as a freelance graphic artist and designer. The wedding will be held in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday, Aug. 15. The couple will reside in North Bend.
