Haffner receives scholarship

Brittany Elyse Haffner, granddaughter of Joan and George Haffner of Fall City, has received a Dean’s Scholarship from Northeastern University in Boston, where she will study physics.

The merit award of $15,000 per year is given to students who have demonstrated high academic achievement.

Haffner recently graduated from TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas in San Antonio, Texas, where she was a member of National Honor Society and captain of the varsity tennis team, playing in the No. 1 singles position.

She is the daughter of Catherine and Noll Haffner of San Antonio.
