North Bend to host recycling event Sunday

The city of North Bend will host a Special Recycling Event, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at the Snoqualmie Middle School, located at 9200 Railroad Avenue.

The program will accept household materials from King County residents. Acceptable items include scrap metal, appliances, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, electronics, petroleum products, tires, batteries and reusable household goods.

The City has arranged to accept computers, monitors, laptops and TVs at no cost during this event.

See the full listing of recyclable items on the event flyer which may also be accessed on the homepage of the city’s Web site at www.ci.north-bend.wa.us. Items with a fee are noted on the flyer and cash only will be accepted at the recycling event.
