Disaster plan topic of city open house

The city of Snoqualmie is embarking on a planning process to reduce damage from natural disasters.

Citizens are invited to an upcoming hazard mitigation plan open house to share their local knowledge of the area’s vulnerability to natural hazards based on past occurrences. They can learn more about the risk and vulnerability to natural hazards in Snoqualmie and how to mitigate those potential impacts.

The event is 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 Snoqualmie Parkway. Call (425) 888-5337 for information.
