Pikes to celebrate 50 years of marriage Open house set for golden anniversary

Friends and family can help Tom and Irene Pike of Fall City celebrate their upcoming 50th wedding anniversary.
An open house reception is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Valley Christian Assembly of God Church, 32725 S.E. 42nd St. in Fall City. The Pikes will renew their vows at 3 p.m. Friends are invited to attend, but no gifts are requested.
Tom and Irene met at a skating rink in Spokane where Tom was stationed while serving in the Army. They were married in Detroit, Tom’s home town.
The couple have resided in Fall City for 48 years, raising their nine children there. The Pike children are are Gerry Anderson of Bellingham, Gene Anderson of Edmonds, Kris Anderson of Fall City, Mary Hawkins of Maple Valley, Drew Pike of Blaine, Nancy Pike of Bellevue, John Pike of Woodinville, Darin Pike of Spokane and Karen Thomsen of Kenmore.
