Bertha Isackson

Bertha Emanuelson Isackson, 85, of Redmond, a former resident of Fall City, died Saturday, Aug. 2 at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue.

Bertha was born Jan. 1, 1923 in Fall City, on her family’s dairy farm. Raised in Fall City, she graduated from Fall City High School in 1941 as valedictorian. After high school, she moved to Seattle and attended business college. She worked 20 years for Seattle City Light and was active in the Swedish Ladies Chorus.

Survivors include her stepson, Clark Isackson of Arizona; sister Edith (Jim) Sillery of Seattle; nephew James K. Sillery of Seattle and numerous relatives in Sweden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Isackson.

At her request, no services will be held.
