• Cosplay class for teens in grades 6 to 12, 3 to 4 p.m. at the Snoqualmie Library. Get ideas and tips on how to dress up like your favorite manga or anime character.

Thursday, Aug. 21

• Teen writing workshop hosted by award-winning fantasy author Louise Marley, for young writers, 2 to 4 p.m. at the Snoqualmie Library. Come and learn how to create characters, build a plot, and tell a story.

Sunday, Sept. 14

• Blessing of the Animals is noon to 4 p.m. at All Pets Go To Heaven, 35022 S.E. Fall City- Snoqualmie Road, Fall City. A variety of blessing ceremonies performed to honor animals start at 2 p.m. There will be healing tools, tips and information.
