Lynda Laham, a psychotherapist, author, coach, athlete and avid motorcyclist, is the featured speaker at the Snoqualmie Valley Rotary Club meeting, 7 a.m. at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge.

She is a marriage and family therapist with a specialty in sport and performance psychology.

Laham was born in New York and grew up in Los Angeles, navigating her way through the chaos of the multiple marriages and divorces of her parents on her way to becoming a marriage and family therapist with a specialty in sport and performance psychology. She and her husband currently reside in Snoqualmie, where their four grown children also live.

“Two-Up”, her first book, recounts their first three years together, a second marriage for both of them. Laham moves from novice to experienced passenger as they build their relationship while simultaneously learning to ride together as a team in the world of long distance motorcycling. Her unique perspective as both a therapist and competitor adds a new dimension to motorcycling literature. Laham currently writes a regular column, “Pillion’s Perspective” for the “Iron Butt Magazine”.
