STEMFEST: High school event focuses on math, science
STEM Fest is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Mount Si High School. Annual event focuses on the high school's science, technology, engineering and math offerings, and is open to all students who will attend Mount Si in 2014-15.
Learn why STEM is important, explore the initiative's artistic side, and enter for a chance to win an Xbox One. Guest speaker University of Washington Professor Hélène Martin will discuss the value of programming classes, and inspire students about the possibilities for their futures when they have the right skills.
