Learn curling Monday night at Snoqualmie Library

An introduction to the Olympic sport of curling is 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at the Snoqualmie Library.

Learn about the history and origins of the curling with members of the Granite Curling Club and how to get yourself on the ice.

There will be a question and answer period along with a chance to handle some equipment, including a rock, broom and curling shoes.

If you’re resolved to begin the New Year with a more active, healthy lifestyle, get started at the local KCLS library. Throughout 2014, find ideas, inspiration and tips on simple ways to add more movement and healthy options to your life through the new adult series, Start to Fitness.
