The weather looked gray but summer storms made way for Carnation’s exciting Fourth of July celebration, held last Friday. Runners cruised down the main street for the annual Run for the Pies run and walk, and downtown was packed for a big grand parade, kick-started by hundreds of children with a mini-parade all their own. Vendors, musical entertainment, family activities, food and fireworks filled out the day.
