Set out the trash; Carnation to accept additional items Oct. 15

Carnation residents can start their fall cleaning Tuesday, Oct. 15, when the city expands its curbside collection service for the day. Residents can set out up to eight additional bags of garbage or individual items for collection that day, at no additional cost.

Items must be household garbage only, no more than three-and-a-half-feet on a side, and weigh less than 60 pounds. Items such as tires, furniture, and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
