Share your thoughts on county budget priorities at North Bend meeting, Oct. 16

The King County Council's budget committee is holding a series of public sessions on next year's budget.

One is this coming Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Si View Community Center in North Bend.

In a reminder sent this week to members of her district, local King County Councilwoman Kathy Lambert urged residents to attend.

"Come and share your concerns and desires for the budget," she stated. "I have heard comments on the need for more law enforcement in the unincorporated areas."

There will also be an additional hearing on Oct. 22 at the King County Courthouse in downtown Seattle. All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. Day-after coverage of the public hearings will be available online and on King County TV.3-
