Improving literacy at the Bindlestick: Lux Language partners hosting event next week

Sharilyn Lux and Lux Language Partners host a celebration of literacy, 5 to 7 p.m Tuesday, July 16 at the Bindlestick Cafe, Snoqualime.

The free event looks at improving literacy and bilingual education in the Valley and in the most needed areas on the Americas, in Guatemala.  A portion of proceeds from each lesson from Lux  Languages goes to a literacy program in Guatemala. The organization recently started a website and wants to share services with the wider community.

Light appetizers will be served.
