Dave Humphries, left, works on as Ben Cosgrove and Princeton See pose with some monster weeds they pulled from the Snoqualmie Valley Veteran’s Memorial during a volunteer session Wednesday, April 24. Weeding, general cleaning, and planting was done by members of the local Rotary and Kiwanis organizations and the Mount Si High School Key Club, with help from Snoqualmie city crews. The Rotary and Kiwanis clubs have both contributed funds toward the maintenance and new plantings at the memorial, which was installed in 2011 on a vacant lot at the American Legion post.
