Video interview, Vietnam tribute: Special speakers at tonight's American Legion potluck in Snoqualmie

This week's meeting of the Valley American Legion post, 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, includes special speakers talking about an upcoming Vietnam War tribute and an Eagle Scout candidate's interview project.

Friends and family are invited to a dessert potluck tonight.

A special guest speaker, Marty Schencke will talk about “Honoring our Vietnam War Era Veterans,” a Veteran Tribute hosted by American Legion Post 199 in Carnation, planned in June.

Scout Alex Velimesis will also share his veteran interview video project. He is producing a video for his Eagle Project that features local Legion Members,

The post meets at the Renton Pickering Post Building, on River Street in Snoqualmie opposite City Hall.
