Haircuts for firefighters: Duvall's Great Clips hosts cut-a-thon for Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund

The Great Clips Hair Salon in the Lower Valley holds a “Cut-A-Thon” in support of the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund, this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 12 and 13.

The event will be held at Great Clips located at 14030 Main Street N.E. in Duvall next to the Safeway Store, with $5 from every regularly priced haircut going to help families in need.

In March of 2011, the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund was established to provide relief to needy persons suffering from poverty, homelessness, and other life situations deserving of charity. The fund was also created to assist the community served by Eastside Firefighters which includes Eastside Fire & Rescue, Fall City Fire, Duvall Fire, and Snoqualmie Fire Department. The benevolent fund can also provide relief for firefighters and their families in the event of a financial difficulty due to an unforeseen emergency situation or disaster.

You can walk right in to Great Clips, no appointment needed. You can also check-in online at www.greatclips.com or contact the salon at: (425) 844-9571 for an appointment.

When you help EFR reach their goal of $2,000, you get a Great Clips hair cut in support of the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
