Snoqualmie Methodists host charity knitathon for the homeless

November 27, 2012 · 9:33 AM

Snoqualmie United Methodist Church will host a community knitathon to make hats and scarves to distribute to the needy, 1 to 4 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 2.

It's a bring-you-own yarn, needles and hooks, though extras will be on hand, and easy patterns will be available at the event.

Completed hats and scarves will be collected through December 21 for distribution to area shelters and the Interfaith Council Warm for Winter project.

Coffee and company will be provided at the event.
