Wagner’s Walkateers, sporting their own home-made “jet packs,” won the Spirit Award at the North Bend Elementary Oct. 11 walkathon fundraiser. The honor, awarded to the class with the most team spirit, was an exciting first for teacher Kim Wagner, who’s taught at the school for 25 years.
