Fire Department holds food drive Friday, Saturday

Fall City firefighters will collect donations for the Fall City Community Food Pantry Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20. Donations of non-perishable food items or money can be dropped off from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, or from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Farmhouse Market, Creative Business Advantage, Sno Falls Credit Union or the Fall City United Methodist Church.

Some items that are always needed at the food bank include boxed dinners, canned fruits, vegetables and meats, cereal, dish soap, laundry soap and fabric softener, condiments, crackers and snacks, heat-and-eat items like soups, peanut butter, jam or jelly, pinto beans, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, salt, sugar and toilet paper.

The FCCFP was established in 2007, and provides non-perishable food items to the residents of the Snoqualmie Valley including Fall City, North Bend & Snoqualmie. Make checks payable to FCCFP, and drop off at one of the listed Fall City collection sites, or mail to FCCFP, ℅ Fall City United Methodist Church, PO Box 640, Fall City, WA 98024.
