Tutors needed for teen programs

Are you an adult who would like to share your skills with young people who want to learn? If so, opportunities are waiting for you at Valley libraries.

The King County Library System is recruiting volunteer Study Zone tutors for students in elementary through high school.?All that’s needed is a two-hour weekly commitment or availability for flexible substitute scheduling.

Student volunteers can receive academic community service.

Food addiction meeting to be held

A beginners recovery meeting with the Food Addicts Anonymous group is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3. The meeting is meant to help people who can’t stop eating, or who make the wrong food choices. Call 425-888-0314 for information.
