North Bend Sallal Grange blanket project is Monday

September 21, 2012 · Updated 11:49 AM

A special crafting event, No-Sew Blankets 4 Kids in Need, is 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at North Bend's Sallal Grange, 12912 432nd Ave. S.E.

Sallal Grange is holding the event for the Linus Project, www.projectlinus.org. Members will cut and tie no-sew blankets to be distributed to children in traumatic situations. Many hands make light work, and the blanket projects are said to be very simple and easy to learn.

Tea and crumpets will be served.
