Moose to host benefit auction for Smoky Van Buskirk

Friends and family of Valley resident Smoky Van Buskirk will put on a silent auction and hamburger dinner, 6 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the North Bend Moose Lodge. A live auction begins at 7:30 p.m.

Van Buskirk has been battling cancer for several years, and continues to fight hard, friends say. Proceeds from the event will help with his expenses.
