Cedarcrest celebrates random acts of kindness
April 26, 2012 · 11:24 AM
This week, Cedarcrest High School celebrates its Random Acts of Kindness Club and club advisor Peggy Filer, the subject of a video production by a San Francisco company. The production, "Storytellers for Good" will include an interview with Filer, as well as students and staff, discussing their nomination for the Random Acts of Kindness Challenge.
On Friday at 1:25 p.m., the school will have an all-school Random Acts of Kindness Assembly, introducing some of the club's key supporters over the years, and Samantha Ritter, a student founder of the club.
After the assembly the RAK students and volunteers will complete a campus clean-up effort, 2:15 to 2:45 p.m., then head down to Ixtapa for one of their regular "Pay it Forward" lunches, around 3 p.m.
