PTSA awards $4,800 in grants to teachers

The Mount Si High School PTSA awarded more than $4,800 in grants to teachers. The grants were funded by various fundraising efforts including eScrip, ASB Auction baskets, coat checks, parking raffles, parking sales, ValleyFest, and the Wildcat Days BBQ. Grants included:
• Sports Video to DVD, $579.83 for a camera and battery, to Joe Dockery
• Job Corp Field Trip, $69.61, the cost of substitute teacher for Rachel Combs
• SCI - Snoqualmie, $972.50 for DNA kits, to Andrew Rapin
• ELL Materials, $302.56 for reading books and manuals, to Karen Schotzko
• Using Videos on Instructional Websites, $206.31 for a camera and memory module, to Ann Heideman
• Granting a Dream, $600
• Scholarships for Shakespeare trip to Ashland, Ore., William Dillon, Shakespeare theater group at MSHS, $1,400
• Audio Language Lab, $747.17 for headsets, to Linda Wickswat.
