Bite of the World benefit helps SVA church, Valley charities

Snoqualmie Valley Alliance church hosts Bite of the World, a music and meal benefit helping a number of regional and global charities.

The evening of musical entertainment and food, which also includes an auction, is 7 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the SVA main auditorium, 36017 Southeast Fish Hatchery Road, Fall City.

Proceeds help groups including SVA's Gift of Apparel Clothing Bank, Urban Missions, Snoqualmie Valley food banks and community gardens, the Emergency Response Team, Mobile Medical Clinic, Snoqualmie Valley Youth Center, the Bueng Klung Hostel for Burmese refugee children, and relief efforts in Uganda, India, Thailand, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala and China.
