Good-doers sought for Rise, Shine award

Every spring, the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network recognizes outstanding volunteers who, over the past year, have worked to build a healthy future for children and families of the Valley. Community members and organizations nominate volunteers to be recognized at the annual breakfast, 7:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Camp River Ranch, 3300 N.E. 32nd St., Carnation.

Organizers do not charge for the breakfast but ask for a donation to support the Prevention Scholarship Program, honoring Valley graduates who help promote adolescent health. The deadline for nominations is April 29.

To obtain an electronic copy of the Rise and Shine Nomination Form, contact the Network at, visit or call (425) 333-6614.
