Thespian Society forms at Cedarcrest High School
April 12, 2011 · 10:08 AM
For the first time, Cedarcrest High School has an established Thespian Society.
Students in the Thespian Society participate in theater events throughout the school year, where they are adjudicated by judges. They also have opportunities for college scholarships, special college auditions and are able to attend theater workshops throughout the year.
Planning for the society began last year, when drama teacher Michelle Lewis attended a state festival. Auditions for the society began in May, and the club officers and members held an Induction Ceremony in November.
